Shae Leighland's photographic subject matter includes old rusty equipment, modes of transportation, and rural settings. She photographs both urban and rural decay, and likes to haunt car shows, where she is frequently found lying on the ground to get a shot of a hood ornament or door handle set against the sky.

What is Staging?

Moving? That's a fantastic time to engage a stager. If you are selling a home, I will help you show it off to its best advantage so that prospective buyers will mentally move in as soon as they see it! Staged homes typically sell for the highest and best price. What a wonderful investment in your equity! It really does make a huge difference selling a staged home. An important thing to remember throughout this process is that the way you live in your home and the way you sell your home are two very different things. Before the buyer can mentally move in, the current owner must mentally move out. Letting go can be hard…but a stager can help you do this.

“Before the buyer can mentally move in, the current owner must mentally move out.”

Staging a home for sale is a little different than decorating it for your personal use. When I decorate your home for *you*, I do so to set off your favorite things so that you'll enjoy them, and I work with your lifestyle so that you'll get the most out of your home. When Staging for sale, I work with the best features of your house…after all, it's the house you are selling, not your personal items. I help potential buyers begin to mentally move in as soon as they set foot inside!

Parris Island

JesseMarines Jesse graduated as a Marine at Parris Island on 14 March, 2008.  Congratulations, Jesse!
While we were there, I snapped some Spanish Moss. Parris Island is surprisingly pretty. Except for the sand fleas, that is.
